A 14th-century Sufi saint and scholar who took part in the final battle of the 1303 Conquest of Sylhet under his maternal uncle Shah Jalal. His birthplace is disputed in the sources (Konya in Anatolia, or Hadhramaut in Yemen). He died unmarried and without descendants and was buried beside his khanqah; a dargah complex with a mosque, eidgah, langar khana and pond grew around the grave. No precise death year is documented.
