Seyyid Abdurrahman Arvasi (Kutb-i Arvasi) was one of the great saints of Eastern Anatolia and a descendant of the Prophet (sayyid). Born in Arvas in the Müküs district of Van in the second half of the 12th Hijri century, he died in the first half of the 13th. His tomb is in the town of Güzelsu (Hoşab), Gürpınar district of Van.
