Sakhi Shah-e Mardan (Ziyarat-e Sakhi) is a Shia devotional shrine and mosque at the foot of Asmai (TV) Hill in western Kabul. IMPORTANT: this is NOT a tomb but a COMMEMORATIVE/devotional site; Ali ibn Abi Talib is not buried here (his traditional grave is Najaf). It commemorates a legendary visit by Imam Ali and the resting of the Prophet's cloak en route to Kandahar; it is a focal point for Kabul's Hazara community and the Nowruz 'Jahenda Bala' (banner-raising).
