Niyazi Baba is venerated in local tradition as one of the 'Horasan erenleri,' believed to have arrived during the Turkification of the Tavas-Acıpayam-Yeşilova region and remembered as a Bektashi dervish. The village of Niyazlar in Yeşilova takes its name from him. As his tomb bears no inscription, his exact dates are unknown; the shrine is visited for vows and healing (folk-venerated / disputed dating).
