Hacı Baba is recorded in TDV among the Gaziantep zaviyes of the Mamluk period, noted as Mevlevi. His tomb is on a hill in Karşıyaka, north of the former Tekel factory; damaged in the War of Independence and later repaired by locals. (Sources: TDV 'Gaziantep'; Gaziantep Provincial Directorate)
