Abu Zama'a al-Balawi (Sidi Sahab), a Companion known as the 'Barber of the Prophet,' who is said to have preserved three hairs of the Prophet's beard. He took part in the early conquests of North Africa and was martyred near Kairouan in 34 AH (654), where he was buried. His tomb, the Zawiya of Sidi Sahib, is a great spiritual landmark of Kairouan.
