A 16th-17th century saint of the Çukurova region affiliated with the Qadiriyya order (the path of Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani). He taught Islam to the surrounding tribes and led many to embrace the faith. His domed tomb lies beside a mosque near Kütüklü village in the Yakapınar (Misis) area of the Yüreğir district of Adana, among centuries-old oak trees.
