An 11th-century Persian/Kurdish dervish poet of Hamadan, famous for his do-bayti quatrains in the Hamadani dialect. The epithet 'Uryan' (the Naked) denotes his asceticism. His death year is uncertain (roughly 1010–1055 CE); per Ravandi, the Seljuk sultan Tughril Beg visited him. His mausoleum in Hamadan is a national monument and pilgrimage site.
