Seyyid Mahmud Çağırgan-ı Veli (traditionally 1422–1518), of Khorasan origin in the path of Ahmed Yesevi, settled in Boyluca village, Alucra district of Giresun. The octagonal mausoleum over his grave in Boyluca was built in 1939–1940; annual commemorations are held.
