Prophets · Nabi Samwil
A prophet recognized in Islamic and Israelite tradition, reported to have anointed Talut (Saul) as king. His shrine is in the village of Nabi Samwil about 4 km north of Jerusalem; the present structure is a 14th-century Mamluk mosque with the tomb in an underground chamber.
