A Mâlikî jurist and scholar of hadith; he is counted one of the seven saints of Marrakesh. His full name was Abu'l-Fadl 'Iyâd b. Mûsâ b. 'Iyâd al-Yahsubî . He was born at Ceuta in the middle of Sha'bân of the year 476 (late December 1083).
