Yusuf ibn Abd al-Rahim, born in Damascus (or Baghdad), a Sufi who settled in Luxor in Upper Egypt after pilgrimage, known for his piety and service to pilgrims. Regarded as the patron saint of Luxor. His tomb is beneath the dome of the mosque bearing his name, built atop Luxor Temple, honoured by an annual mawlid.
