Original language
Latin
An early thirteenth-century copy of a schematic map of the Roman world's road network, its stations and the distances between them (ÖNB Cod. 324: 11 segments, 340 × 6745 mm). The map is not to scale; land and sea are stretched to fit a single strip. In the atlas it is a route witness: the stations appear in the Peutinger roads layer (OmnesViae), and no coordinates are derived from the image.
