The work in which the Ottoman historian and mathematician Matrakçı Nasuh depicted, in paintings of towns and stages, the halting places of Sultan Süleyman's campaign to the two Iraqs. The paintings are witnesses to locations, not scaled maps; the stages will be matched against the atlas gazetteer under the board's review (S-TKH8). The copy is in the Istanbul University Rare Works Library (TY 5964); its image requires the institution's permission, so this record is bibliographic only.
