1. Ihram & Intention
When: Before the Miqat boundary
Perform ghusl, wear the ihram (two unstitched white cloths), make the intention for Umrah, and recite the Talbiyah. In ihram, sewn clothing, perfume, shaving and cutting nails are forbidden.
Supplication
Lebbeyk Allâhümme lebbeyk. Lebbeyke lâ şerîke leke lebbeyk. İnne'l-hamde ve'n-ni'mete leke ve'l-mülk. Lâ şerîke lek.

2. Tawaf
When: Upon reaching Masjid al-Haram
Circle the Kaaba 7 times (shawt) starting from the Black Stone, keeping the Kaaba on your left. After tawaf, pray 2 rakats behind Maqam Ibrahim and drink Zamzam.
Supplication
Rabbenâ âtinâ fi'd-dünyâ haseneten ve fi'l-âhirati haseneten ve kınâ azâbe'n-nâr.
Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.
3. Sa'i
When: After tawaf
Walk 7 times between Safa and Marwah, starting at Safa (Safa→Marwah is one shawt). Men do 'harwala' (brisk pace) in the green-lit section.
Supplication
İnne's-safâ ve'l-mervete min şeâiri'llâh.
Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah.
4. Halq or Taqsir (Shaving)
When: After sa'i
Men shave (halq) or shorten (taqsir) their hair; women cut a fingertip's length. This ends the ihram and completes the Umrah. May Allah accept it.
1. Ihram & Intention

Perform ghusl, enter ihram, make the intention for Hajj and begin the Talbiyah, repeated often until the standing at Arafat.
Supplication

2. To Mina (Tarwiyah)
When: 8th of Dhul-Hijjah
Go to Mina; pray Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha and the next Fajr there and stay overnight (the Sunnah).
3. Standing at Arafat (Pillar of Hajj)
When: 9th of Dhul-Hijjah — midday to sunset
Stand at Arafat — the greatest pillar of Hajj ('Hajj is Arafat'). Dhuhr and Asr are combined. Spend until sunset in supplication, repentance and remembrance. Missing it invalidates the Hajj.
Supplication
Rabbenâ âtinâ fi'd-dünyâ haseneten ve fi'l-âhirati haseneten ve kınâ azâbe'n-nâr.

4. Muzdalifah
When: Evening of the 9th → morning of the 10th
After sunset move to Muzdalifah; combine Maghrib and Isha, stay overnight, and gather pebbles for the stoning.
5. Stoning, Sacrifice, Shaving
When: 10th of Dhul-Hijjah (Eid day)
Throw 7 pebbles at the large Jamrah (Aqaba). Then offer the sacrifice and shave/shorten the hair. With these, the first release from ihram occurs and the Talbiyah ends.
6. Tawaf al-Ifadah & Sa'i
When: 10th of Dhul-Hijjah onward
Go down to Mecca for the Tawaf al-Ifadah at the Kaaba, followed by sa'i. This tawaf is a pillar of Hajj; completing it (second release) lifts all ihram restrictions.
Supplication

7. Days of Tashriq — Jamarat
When: 11th–12th (–13th) of Dhul-Hijjah
Stay in Mina and stone the three Jamarat (small, middle, large), 7 pebbles each, in order daily. After the 12th day's stoning one may leave Mina.
8. Farewell Tawaf
When: Before leaving Mecca
Pilgrims leaving make a final tawaf of the Kaaba (Farewell Tawaf), completing the Hajj rites. May Allah grant you an accepted Hajj (Hajj Mabrur).
