The Imamzadeh mausoleum houses the grave of Imamzadeh Ibrahim, traditionally identified as a son of the fifth Shia Imam Muhammad al-Baqir. By tradition Ibrahim and his brother Ismail fled Umayyad persecution; Ibrahim was killed at Ganja, where a mausoleum was raised over his grave. The complex, also known as the Blue/Goy Imam, includes mosques, gated walls, a garden and funerary monuments, and was extensively restored in 2010-2016. NOTE: the descent from al-Baqir is a traditional/devotional identification typical of imamzadeh sites. (Sources: English Wikipedia 'Imamzadeh (Ganja)'; Wikidata Q12849004)
