بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى
sebbiḥi-sme rabbike-l'a`lâ.
Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
elleẕî ḫaleḳa fesevvâ.
Who created and proportioned
وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
velleẕî ḳaddera fehedâ.
And who destined and [then] guided
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ
velleẕî aḫrace-lmer`â.
And who brings out the pasture
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ
fece`alehû guŝâen aḥvâ.
And [then] makes it black stubble.
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ
senuḳriüke felâ tensâ.
We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ
illâ mâ şâe-llâh. innehû ya`lemü-lcehra vemâ yaḫfâ.
Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
venüyessiruke lilyüsrâ.
And We will ease you toward ease.
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
feẕekkir in nefe`ati-ẕẕikrâ.
So remind, if the reminder should benefit;
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ
seyeẕẕekkeru mey yaḫşâ.
He who fears [Allah] will be reminded.
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى
veyetecennebühe-l'eşḳâ.
But the wretched one will avoid it -
ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
elleẕî yaṣle-nnâra-lkübrâ.
[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ
ŝümme lâ yemûtü fîhâ velâ yaḥyâ.
Neither dying therein nor living.
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
ḳad efleḥa men tezekkâ.
He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself
وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
veẕekera-sme rabbihî feṣallâ.
And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا
bel tü'ŝirûne-lḥayâte-ddünyâ.
But you prefer the worldly life,
وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
vel'âḫiratü ḫayruv veebḳâ.
While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
inne hâẕâ lefi-ṣṣuḥufi-l'ûlâ.
Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,
صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
ṣuḥufi ibrâhîme vemûsâ.
The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
