A Sufi and scholar, a key link in the Naqshbandi chain through Ala al-Din Attar (deputy of Baha al-Din Naqshband); originally from Charkh (Logar, Afghanistan). He died in 1447 and was buried near Dushanbe, his tomb a pilgrimage site. The exact tomb location is disputed, so coordinates are left null. (Sources: TDV; naqshbandi.uk.)
