A 19th-century Halvetî-Şâbânî sheikh of Kütahya. Born 1805, trained in Kastamonu in the path of Şâbân-ı Velî, then sent to Kütahya where he founded the Mesudiye (Bekir Efendi) Lodge and mosque.
