Idris Baba was a revered dervish and holy man of Pécs (Ottoman Peçuy) in the late 16th century, famed for his miracles, prophecies and healing. The Ottoman historian Peçuylu İbrahim Efendi met him personally around 1591, and Evliya Çelebi recorded that many miracles were related about him. After his death an octagonal rough-stone domed tomb was built over his grave; it is one of only two surviving Ottoman türbes in Hungary. His order is debated: TDV records him as Qadiri, while local Hungarian tradition associates him with the Bektashi.
