Real name Receb, known as 'Koluaçık' (Open-handed), Hacım Sultan is a major Bektashi saint regarded as a deputy of Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli, with his own hagiography (Velâyetnâme, by Derviş Burhan, 14th-15th c.). He settled in Hacım village (Sivaslı, Uşak) where he founded his lodge. In the TDV Encyclopedia, A. Y. Ocak argues he was likely a 14th-century Kalenderî-Haydarî shaykh. A tomb was built in his name after his death. (Sources: TDV 'Hacım Sultan' (A. Y. Ocak); Hacım Sultan Velâyetnâmesi; Uşak Provincial Directorate)
