A Sufi who lived in Akhisar, regarded as the founder of the Iseviyye branch of the Bayramiyya order, which is attributed to him. His son Ilyas (Ibn Isa) was also a Sufi poet. After his death a mosque and tomb were built in his name in Akhisar, and the neighborhood bears his name; he is buried in Akhisar.
