veḍḍuḥâ.
By the morning brightness
velleyli iẕâ secâ.
And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,
mâ vedde`ake rabbüke vemâ ḳalâ.
Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].
velel'âḫiratü ḫayrul leke mine-l'ûlâ.
And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].
velesevfe yü`ṭîke rabbüke feterḍâ.
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
elem yecidke yetîmen feâvâ.
Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?
vevecedeke ḍâllen fehedâ.
And He found you lost and guided [you],
vevecedeke `âilen feagnâ.
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
feemme-lyetîme felâ taḳher.
So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
veemme-ssâile felâ tenher.
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].
veemmâ bini`meti rabbike feḥaddiŝ.
But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
